"In 2024, the Capella network used the year to broadly communicate the fundamentals of safety. We organized discussion sessions with site managers, analyzed the causes of workplace accidents, and shared feedback and lessons learned. Site managers and part of the management team received training in risk prevention. Employees also benefited from targeted training sessions, such as electrical certification, fire extinguisher handling, ergonomics and lifting techniques, workplace first aid (SST), and more. Over the past year, the number of workplace accidents stabilized, and the safety culture improved. Teams and staff representatives are now more mature on the topic and engage in regular discussions about it. As the disability liaison, I worked—with the support of my colleagues—to raise team awareness on this subject. During National Disability Week, we offered a quiz to all employees to educate them on the different types of disabilities, including those that are not immediately visible. We remain attentive to their needs and to any specific requests. For example, sales staff who suffer from back issues and are officially recognized as disabled workers can request adapted vehicles. Another example: at the Legeay site in Charente (16), a colleague was able to return to her administrative position after a workstation adaptation study was carried out with the help of Occupational Health Services and an ergonomist."
